RedyHost team is always listening to customers in order to better understand their needs. After studying a lot of feedback and doing some analysis on use patterns over time of our Cloud VPS offering, the team saw an opportunity to provide a new storage option that would be well-suited to data that is accessed infrequently, such as static files or database backups.
As part of our analysis and review, we have doubled the default storage space (HDD) for the entire Cloud VPS products from 50GB to 100GB. This increase would allow Cloud VPS customers to store necessary data backups more frequently and store more copies of data every day.
The new storage space sizes are effective 15 October 2015. Existing customers need to contact RedyHost support team in order to upgrade their storage size.
We also reviewed Cloud VPS Backup addon (virtualization-level 4-hourly snapshots and entire Cloud VPS daily backups), which is now discounted from the A$35/mo flat rate to only A$5/mo for the Cloud .5VPS and A$10/mo for any larger Cloud VPS.
